PROPOSALS –
1. To inculcate social motivation and to have expert judgement, I propose to invite judges from NGO’s.
- Received confirmation from NGO’s like SOS Children Village, CINI India, C.R.Y. and Greenpeace.
- NGO’s willing to invite the winners to perform along with them to promote social causes.
- Implementation to be done in Open IIT Dramatics on a pilot basis.
2. To publicize Spring Fest in-house and externally on a much larger scale, I propose this idea of launching Spring Fest Merchandize.
- Starting from T-shirts, it will be extended to a wide variety of accessories like Sweat-shirts, Key-chains, Bags, Chocolates, etc.
3. To propagate the notion of the rich Social and Cultural life at IIT Kharagpur and to provide an incentive to the students who strive hard to perform brilliantly in various events and productions in spite of rigorous academic schedule, I propose to record them and then the ones which make the podium finish will be sent to the television channels requesting to telecast them.
