- Proposals:
a) I propose to conduct a Youth Summit on climate change and Environmental Sustainibility at Kshitij 2011. This will be an international platform for interaction between like minded students who are involved with relevant activities. While ensuring that they form a motivated community to carry on this sector, this will also produce a tangible output in the fest and in the scientific Community in large.
b) I propose to get the event Hardware Exhibition of Technology General Championship certified by IMechE which is an International Organization which conducts events of international stature and certifies them. This will significantly raise the Certification weight-age for the winnning teams, thus benefitting the students of IIT Kharagpur.
c) To Conduct an Orientation Workshop for interested first year students on General Algorithms and Coding in JAVA, and familiarity with LINUX and Windows with reference to programming skills in them to help them in various events in Kshitij and Technology General Championship.
- Achievements:
a) Participated in 2nd International Children’s Theatre festival held in New Delhi, Nov-1999 as an actor which was organised by AITA/IATA, a body of UNESCO.
b) Was a General Body Member of AIESEC-IIT Kharagpur, an extension of AIESEC – KOLKATA for 2008-09.
c) Presently the organising Team member of Kshitij – 2010, the annual techno-management fest of IIT Kharagpur
d) Was an Organising Team Member of Overnite, The ACM/ICPC 2010 MULTIPROVINCIAL PROGRAMMING CONTEST.
e) Was a member of the Prefectorial board at Hans Raj Model School, Delhi
