1. Conduction of a workshop and an event for developing a strong technological foundation amongst first years
AIM
To train the first years for various technology general championship events and also give them an opportunity to apply their knowledge by working with start ups. This will also help us develop an interest among them towards the technology domain.
This will be accomplished by conducting workshops and events in fields like web designing, designing visuals and many more.
BENEFITS
This will help increasing the involvement of first years in technical activities, both for Kshitij and Technology General Championship Events, web team members and design team members selection procedure.
2. Collaboration with TTG and law school faculty to catalyse the patenting process for the products showcased in various technology general championship events.
AIM
To help the students get their products patented which they have presented in various events of technology general championship.
The events in focus are:
• Product Design
• Hardware Modeling
This will improve quality of entries in the years to come. Also this will help ideas get patented and leverages the institute’s image as a research centre.
This will also motivate the post-graduate students to participate in the events.
3. Adding a dimension of real life industry problems in various technology general championship events by developing an industry interface in the events.
AIM
To extract industrial output by students in particular events of the Technology general championship by getting real world problem statements from industries and the solutions judged by their own representatives and professor concerned.
The events focused are :
• Case Study
• Ad Design
• Chemical Innovation
• Opensoft
This will also motivate the Post Graduate students to participate in the Technology General Championship events.
4. Take a social initiative under Kshitij which aims at promoting Leaders in the social development sector.
AIM
To promoting leadership in the country in the social domain. An initiative will be taken in this direction by introduction of an event. This initiative will also aim at bringing out a social output for the community.
• It will be a panel discussion presided over by jury consisting of people from United Nation, NGOs, SHGs and other socially active companies.
• The winners of the event will get certification and an opportunity to work with national organisation like ‘ CRY ‘.
