Call for summer projects at PK Sinha Center for Bioenergy
The PK Sinha Center for Bioenergy at Indian Institute of Technology – Kharagpur was set up on August 31, 2009 through
the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by the Director, IIT-Kharagpur, and Dr. Prabhakant Sinha, Founder and Co-Chairman of ZS Associates. Dr. Sinha, who is an alumnus of IIT-Kharagpur and has taught at Kellog School of Management, is seed-funding the PK Sinha Center for Bioenergy with 10 crore rupees (2 million USD). This multidisciplinary center – which aspires to be the nation’s leading ce nter for Bioenergy research – comprises of faculty and scientists from IIT-Kharagpur’s existing departments such as Agriculture & Food Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Geology & Geophysics, Intellectual Property Law School, Mechanical Engineering and Physics.
PK Sinha Center for Bioenergy invites applications for summer projects on Green Energy Innovation. Interested students (2nd Year B.Tech or higher upto 5th Year Dual Degree) may apply.
