      Hi Anonymous,
Through the election season, we have tried our best to maintain an unbiased point of view, both in our print issues and on the website. We have published all comments on all candidates, barring only those that deliberately used filthy language. If you still feel that we have been biased, then please point out specific instances, and we will analyze and work on them to bring you better coverage next year.
In the meanwhile, please refrain from making comments without anything to back them up.
      Thank You,
      The Scholars’ Avenue

You missed out a few….publish them ASAP

  3. anonymous says:

the person who gave first comment seems that he is crying because CJ won
but first see your candidate how stupid he was
and don’t comment on the The News Paper their work is to publish election results

  5. KK says:

Hats off to the Scholars’ Avenue for an awesome coverage of the Gymkhana Elections. Completely disagree with Anonymous. Hope the new VP and his team stand firm on what they promised and proposed.

    Hi
What we have analyzed that the Editor of Scholars Avenue is from Patel hall of residence since last 4 years .This year Scholars Avenue has been used to campaign the Vice President candidate of Patel hall. They had reviewed the proposals of previous year VPs but ignored the other sensitive issues and happenings that had been handled precisely and sensibly which were not mentioned in their proposals . This was just a tactics by Scholars Avenue to disparage the work of Previous VPs by delving into Hall Politics. I haven’t voted anyone this time just for these filthy poltu milieu and I expect Scholars Avenue to refrain from Posting any such articles that may hamper the reputation .

    • Editor says:

      Hello Anonymous 2,
What you seemed to have missed in your analysis is that one of the Editors is from RP as well for the aforementioned period. We have nowhere unilaterally put forth an opinion. The reviews of the previous VPs were written after interviewing them, and if there were things that were handled well by any of them, we have mentioned that as well. As a responsible student publication our job remains to report and analyze, and to make sure that the students know what is happening around them. Through the next year we will do exactly that. Expect a lot more reviews of student office bearers from us, as we strive to make them more accountable. Perhaps what you need to do is, as our election special editorial was titled, “Open your eyes, and See”.
      Thank you,
      The Scholars’ Avenue.

  8. kgpian says:

celistin does deserve to be a vp Ankit was a deserving guy RP hall made a such big mistake

  9. kgpian says:

iam sorry CJ does not deserve

  10. doga says:

lots of allegations(unfounded and a touch hilarious :D ). I don’t know how many ppl agree with me but I have always been proud that schols ave belongs to kgp. However in the context of the allegations, I now feel schols ave is too afraid of courting controversy by trying to be too apolitical. One article on (sf vs ktj in my second yr), there has been no particular article offensive to any section of kgpians. Are the supposed brightest brains of kgp so dimly lit that any other pigment of vibgyor will disturb the balance of vitamin d being produced. Its about time you guys stop lamenting lack of accountability of VP and write periodic reviews.(a view and counter-view will be awesome reading). For heavens sake be inspired from karan thapar and not from karan johar when conducting interviews.I personally know at least one future editor who could do dash dash dash of nyone in a debate . why not use those skills :D . Instead of making a passing reference to pacts why are you not carrying out an exposes with all dirty details. I have never done anything resembling journalism so my ideas might be impractical. Among election coverage, a synopsis of sop would be good a guest article again encompassing both views. To sum up, don’t be scared of allegations you guys have built a decent reputation

  11. You’ve got your position through superior to I ever might, many thanks!

In continuation to my first comment on this article:
@Editor: nice try, use of flowery english and trying to be diplomatic doesnt change the stance u took during the elections time nor justify ur actions.

Could u plz get a comment from the admin of DC hub as to why the mainchat was locked at such a crucial moment and why was the name of a particular candidate banned from using?

Could u also explain as to y only & only Cells SOP is audible while the rest seem to be taken just for the heck of it

  13. Editor says:

    Hi again Anonymous,
I suggest you turn up the volume a little bit when listening to the other SOPs.
    Thanks again.

  14. Anonymous says:

duh, wat a lame reason uve got!
was that supposed to be a joke? or a sarcastic laugh abt other’s vocab?
I meant the audio is of very poor quality FYI

  15. i mean i have said it a million times
i dont agree with TSA articles half the times
at least have the balls to say it on the face
and not behind the garb of “anon”
