Fests and Contests, Kgp Fests

E-Cell, IIT Kharagpur presents four competitions to imbibe entrepreneurship among students and help convert ideas into startups.
Envision : The product design competition, with the assistance of the TePP, feasible products can get upto 30 lacs worth of funding and mentorship.
Eclairez: It is a platform for Social entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative solutions for society’s most pressing social problems. The funding for the start-ups will be provided by Angel Investors.
Negocio: Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur, in its quest to promote Web and Mobile technology based startups, presents Negocio 2009. Winning entries,will get a chance to pitch their idea in front of VCs, along with cash prizes.
Pensez: The Case Study Competition. The problem statement of Pensez 2009 deals with Innovative Carbon Financing for clean development at the BoP. You have to propose an alternative Carbon Financing model that effectively encourages innovations for sustainable development of the masses and takes into account their potential impact.
