No classes, labs on August 21

Upon deliberation during the faculty meeting held at 5:30 PM today, it was decided that all classes and labs scheduled on August 21 will be cancelled. All the faculty members will be on mass casual leave. These classes and labs are likely to be rescheduled to a later date.
The heading is mis leading. There is no notice in gmail. If SA wants to take up causes related to pay hike of prof.s, it should also ensure reciprocal response from prof.s for student causes – tution fee hike, accommodation, mess, increased class size etc. etc. when students start their agitation.
