Casualty on campus
Mita Chakraborty, 38, lost her life in a fall off the second floor from the department of Geology and Geophysics during class hours on the 24th of July, 2009.
Mita, mentally unstable and partially paralyzed by a stroke, lived outside the campus and has been noted missing by her husband since the evening of the 23rd.
We offer our sincere condolences to Mita’s family and friends.
