Suicide on campus: Fresher-to-be ends life.
Yogendra Kumar Singh, 18, was found hanging in his allotted room in Madan Mohan Malviya Hall of Residence mid-day on the 15th of July, 2009.
Yogendra, from Noida, was scheduled to register into an undergraduate course in Electrical Engineering the next morning. The student was accompanied to Kharagpur by his father and maternal uncle, both of whom had been out shopping at the time.
