Professor of Eminence at IIT Kharagpur

Prof. Anil K. Bhowmick of Rubber Technology Centre has been appointed as Professor of Eminence at the Institute. Holder of twelve patents, Prof. Bhowmick had guided 33 Ph.D. students, published more than 400 papers and authored 35 book chapters and seven co-edited books. His research areas include Thermoplastic Elastomers and Polymer blends, Nanocomposites, Polymer modification, Rubber Technology, Failure and Degradation of Polymers, Adhesion and Adhesives.
