Training and Placement

PRADAN (Professional Assistance for Development Action) promotes Self-Help Groups; develops locally suitable economic activities; mobilises finances and introduces systems to improve livelihoods of the rural poor and sustain the progress they have made.

PRADAN comprises of university-educated people motivated to use their knowledge and skills to remove poverty by working with the poor people. PRADAN collaborates extensively with government agencies, banks, market institutions, panchayats, other voluntary organisations and research bodies. Our activities span seven states of the Indian Union.

The job profile for the one year training programme called the “Development Apprenticeship Programme” and another one for Executive Projects i.e. for people having 3-5 years of work experience who are looking for some opportunity for in this sector are given below. This is essentially for direct entry. Generally in PRADAN fresh graduates/post graduates or people with less than 3 years of work expreience, go though the Apprenticeship programme for one year and thereafter join PRADAN as Executives.
